There's no shortage of places to view bats in Texas.  Creating a suprise colony of bats in a courthouse building was really a no- brainer for me.  

I have a smaller option for you today: Old Tunnel State Park. Located in an old railroad tunnel, a colony of about 3 million bats (I swear, these guys can make a home out of anything)
